Concussion Weapons:
These weapons will inflict damage to a target, so long as the projectile hits or lands within a limited proximity to said target. The most damage is done, of course, with direct hits.

Disc Launcher- Pictures---- Disc Equipped Disc Unequipped
While usually considered the main weapon of Tribes players, it is also widely considered to require the most skill to use properly. The disc launcher shoots out a spinning disc projectile which travels a bit slower than most weapons but does a fair amount of damage by exploding upon impact with it's target. When the technique of properly "leading" one's target is mastered, players will find this a very deadly weapon indeed.

In addition to its offensive uses, the disc's explosion can also be exploited in a technique called "disc-jumping". To perform a "disc-jump", the player simply fires a disc directly at their feet as they jump and then use the jetpack. The net result is that velocity is increased for flying, or direction is changed, as some of the energy of the explosion transfers to the player. However, the player will also incur some damage, and so the skill lies in knowing the opportune distance from the ground to be before shooting the disc.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Burster, Engineer, Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Rocket Launcher- Pictures ----
Limited to medium and heavy armors, the rocket launcher fires an explosive missile at your target, with a reasonably high amount of damage being caused upon impact. The speed of the rocket is very similar to that of the disc launcher, and the amount of damage done depends entirely on how near the impact the target is.
Available too: Mercenary, Burster, Engineer (Not Avaiable in Renegades_Z), Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Shockwave Cannon- Pictures ----
Available to: Alien, Engineer (Available weapon in Rengades_Z only), Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Grenade Launcher- Pictures ---- Grenade Launcher Equipped Grenade Launcher Unequipped
The grenade launcher projects timed grenades in an arc-shaped path to one's target with a consistent amount of force behind each launch. Similar in destructive capability to the manually thrown hand grenades, this can be used for creating undiscerning damage to a group of enemies or defensive targets. Not really very useable in close quarters, however, due to the tendency of the grenade to bounce off of objects and miss the intended target, possibly doing damage to teammates or yourself in the process.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Burster, Engineer, Alien (Available weapon in Renegades 6.0 only), Cyborg

Mortar- Pictures ----
This is one of the most destructive weapons in the game. Employed only by heavy armors, it is similar to the grenade launcher, in that its projectile follows an arc-shaped path to the target. Mortars are typically used to destroy your opponents' defenses and/or rape their base(s), as well as for launching oneself or teammates great distances by "mortar jumping", which is similar to "disc jumping", as described above.
Available to: Mercenary, Burster, Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Ion Blaster- Pictures ----
Available to: Scout, Mercenary, Alien

Accuracy Weapons:
These weapons only damage the target when a direct hit is registered.

Chaingun- Pictures ---- Chaingun Equipped Chaingun Unequipped
Generally considered to be a weapon which requires less skill to use, the chaingun is also a staple in a player's weapons cache. In competitions it may be used more often than the disc launcher because of its ability to hit targets at longer ranges, and for its continuous firing ability with ample ammunition provided.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Engineer, Cyborg, Defender (Class only availabe in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Blaster- Pictures ---- Blaster Equipped Blaster Unequipped
Although quite deadly in the hands of some who have exceptional aiming ability, the blaster tends to be less desirable to beginning players for a number of reasons. The projectile is a short spherical burst of energy, which travels very quickly to its target. The downside of the blaster is that for each shot fired, some of the player's jetpack energy is consumed. This often leads to players being "grounded", and therefore easy targets, no pun to Dave intended.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Engineer, Alien, Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Laser Rifle- Must be equipped with an energy pack. Pictures ---- Laser Rifle Equipped Fired at Full Energy Laser Rifle Equipped But Fired with No Energy Laser Rifle Unequipped
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper

Sniper Rifle- Pictures ---- Sniper Rifle Equipped Sniper Rifle Unequipped
Available to: Sniper

Railgun-
Available to: Engineer

Magnum- Pictures ---- Magnum Equipped Magnum Unequipped
Available to: Spy, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Omega Cannon-
Available to: Alien

Hyperblaster- Pictures ---- Hyperblaster Equipped Hyperblaster Unequipped
Available to: Scout, Mercenary, Alien

Manually Deployables:
Almost self-explanatory, this group consists of dropped proximity mines and thrown hand grenades.

Grenades-
Bound to a different key than the standard cyclic weapons group, these timed explosive devices have limited, but controllable range with damage varying inversely with distance to the desired target.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Burster, Engineer, Alien, Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)

Mines-
Also being bound to their own unique key, mines are set off either by players being too near, or by being shot/damaged sufficiently with any other weapon. Care should be given to avoiding the proximity limits of mines when they are seen, as well as notifying teammates of critical placements, such as on your team's flag.
Available to: Scout, Spy, Sniper, Mercenary, Burster, Engineer, Alien, Cyborg, Defender (Class only available in Renegades_Z and 6.0)
