yea i kept a dream log for about a month or so once. at the time I was learning how to lucid dream.

if you keep a dream log you will notice that your dreams seem longer, more vivid, and you can remember them 10x better.

The trick to having good dream recall is to write down everything you can remembers as SOON as you wake up.

becoming lucid while you're dreaming is a whole other story but you definitely need to have good dream recall first.

i can't remember my dream from last night other than that i, and everyone else, was black. btw i'm white. it was just strange to me because i'm certain i've never dreamed of being a different race before.

years ago i taught myself lucid dreaming, years before i even heard that term. i could choose my dreams, have something close to full consciousness in them, make whatever decisions i wanted to in them, modify them at will. if i wanted to hold a disc launcher while fucking megan fox, i could. it was a neat trick.

Its usually a lot easier to dream when you're younger. I had lots of dreams and false awakenings and nightmares as a kid.

likewise. i had terrible nightmares. traumatic nightmares. got to the point i didn't want to go to sleep at night. so i figured out lucid dreaming, problem solved. years later i learned that that's a strategy used in therapy to help those who suffered from a traumatic event to get past the related nightmares.

it's not really worth the mental effort anymore.

Once you realized you're the central human being producing this threw your brain, you then start to understand this unconsciousness called sleep.

same here. i started by getting myself to realize i was in a dream so i could wake myself up and end the nightmare. after that i realized i could have some fun with it, dream anything i wanted.

lucid dreaming ftw.
