if its possible. how do I get Tribes to play at higher resolutions?? i just bought a new 23" lcd and its hard to play with 1280x1024.

hmm that would work. .but you should just put it in your autoexec.cs

and you can change the 1600x900 to whatever resolution you use!

Put it in the config/ ClientPrefs, then look for the code that says $pref::VideoFullScreenRes = "1280x1024";

If your graphics card doesn't support it, you will just crash if you put that in your config.

Spend $50 on a graphics card and you can play tribes at whatever resolution you want.

If my screen supports a higher res then tribes shows it. The max my old 24" supported was 1920/1200 but the max tribes offered was 1600/1200. My new 24" only supports 1920/1080 so the max res from tribes is something like 1600/900.

Tribes doesn't support the aspect ratio that most widescreen monitors have iirc, so it's not a matter of resolution as much as ratios.

Tribes lets me play @ 1440 x 900. Thats my monitors native res.
