Before I type anything, I'd like to make it clear that I am more than thankful for this site and that this thread is not going to be a complaint.

I'm just wondering, but what happened to Tribes without the mods? I remember back in the day when there were inventory machines, different armor classes and the old school maps like "Stonehenge". I don't see any unmodded servers anymore. In light of that, how would I be able to run games without the mods enabled as I have never hosted games before? Also, if I did decide to host regular tribes games would anyone play them?

Theres still some base servers around but most run lasthope 1.30 so you would need to install that into your set up to be able to play them. Tribesone has no base servers hosted as 90% of the community here play mostly RenspawnLT but we have all the old skool maps like stonehenge and canyon crusade.

US Base aka Shithole is usually only LT. However, Sunday nights Sanctuary or Hackington usually have base pus.

Install patch 1.11 (if not done already) click play game at main menu, click host game, pick map, server name, etc... click host game at the bottom right.

DO NOT install any newer maps if you want to just play the old ones.
Also, you need to add the new master servers if it has not already been done.

Yeah, I agree with you, I miss too those times when I played the old original version I wish too that somebody could do those base servers too. (I like the Cybertron server)
